I had researched a lot of different desk products by Alex and decided on this one, primarily because of the other reviews I had read which rated it very highly. I'm glad that I did.My 20 month old got this for Christmas and has used it almost every day since. It is sturdy, attractive and versatile! It is also very easy to assemble.The reasons I did not give this item 5 stars are:1. The desk is made from pressboard/particle board - no suprise, but a couple of the main pieces arrived with corners that were damaged. It didn't effect its fuctionality, however, I would have prefered, of course, if it wasn't damaged in any way.2. The canvas bag that hangs on the back of the chair is very thin and doesn't hold much. Also, the way that it is sewn makes it difficult to get into because of the tension.3. I sort of wish that the under-chair shelf had a back on it so that the items placed on it couldn't get pushed out the back and just end up on the floor.Other than the above mentioned issues, we really love this desk and would recommend its purchase to any one who has a toddler!I looked high and low for a desk for my 3 year old grandson. I don't have a lot of room for a table with chairs so wanted a "school" type desk that doesn't takee up too much space. This desk is nice. The wood is real wood with a smooth finish. I put it together myself and it was not a big deal. The design may have changed a bit from the instructions as I had two extra screws left over.The desk seems sturdy. My grandson hasn't been to my home to use it yet but I think he will like it. I also have not tried any chalk on it yet as I need to get some. I kind of doubt it will work that well, but we'll see.I recommend this desk.Bought one of these on the cheap. My two boys fought over it so much I paid full price for a second one. Only downside is that they aren’t super easy to clean.Pretty nice. One review said it took 15 minutes but it took me a bit longer. I like it. My Grandson has not seen it yet. Did have a couple chips in the paint but not too bad... I'll keep you posted on how my Grandson liked it.I would give it five starS if there was a way for the cup to stay attached for the younger ones who like to take it out and mess with it and if the pouch on the back was a little better designed.I bought this for my nephew who is starting Homeschool this august. He absolutely loves this desk. He is 5 years old. It fits him great, Not to mention his 2 year old brother always tries to use it as well. It is so awesome and easy to put together. It is good Quality too! I am buying another one right now for my son! I am really excited about this purchase. This is not something you will end up regretting. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!^_^Thought the desk would be larger, but it's still great and my son loves it.This product is probably one of the best values around. It arrived in terrific shape due to the ingenius design and careful packaging using all the right materials to protect each piece. Assembly was a snap following the great directions. Once assembled the desk became extremely rigid and sturdy due to the great design and state of the art fasteners provided. The finish is colorful and appealing to a child and unblemished due to the great packaging. Our granddaughter loves it !!!!2 year old loves this! Great quality and would highly recommend.Brilliant, my two year old loves it. Pretty easy to assemble. Reasonable price.My 3 year old LOVES this desk.Looks colourful! Came with a few chips on the edges. My son likes sitting on it to study and do homework. The manufacturer need to do something about the woods chopping from the edges. Maybe use a more stronger finish at the edges. Otherwise looks good.
